Marathons
- Alan Shand runs marathons ……. And he did so to raise funds for the school
- 2005-2010, various national & international marathons including London, Paris, Berlin, New York, Athens, Helsinki,
- In 2011 and beyond progressed to to ultra’s (“double marathons”) such as
- Comrades 56 milers,
- Norfolk 100k,
- SVP 100k,
- Hadrians Wall 78 miler,
- in 2014 L2B and UTMB in Chamonix which was a DNF.
